Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Workforce Planning Solution Owner to lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of our Workforce Planning capability across processes, systems, reporting, communications, and governance. You will partner with People, Finance, Technology, Analytics and business stakeholders to drive adoption, maintain process integrity, and enable leaders and planning teams.

  • Experience in HR, Finance, Operations, PMO, Change Management, HR Technology, or Workforce Planning is an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution and readiness of quarterly Workforce Planning cycles, including communications, testing, reporting, governance activities, and user support.
  • Ensure Workforce Planning remains aligned with Position Governance, Recruitment, Budgeting, and other related processes.
  • Act as the primary coordination point for operational issues, escalations, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Own Workforce Planning communications, user guidance, documentation, and knowledge management.
  • Maintain learning materials, process documentation, SharePoint content, and knowledge articles.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communities including People Partners, People Business Partners, Finance Business Partners, and Super Users.
  • Deliver enablement activities that drive adoption and effective use of Workforce Planning.
  • Manage and prioritise the Workforce Planning improvement backlog.
  • Partner with Technology, Platform, and Analytics teams to define business requirements and support testing of enhancements.
  • Help ensure the integrity of Workforce Planning systems, reporting, data, and integrations.
  • Support the development of reporting and insights that improve workforce decision-making.

You will be responsible for ensuring Workforce Planning runs effectively across processes, systems, reporting, communications, and governance. Acting as the central point of coordination, you will work closely with People, Finance, Technology, Analytics, and business stakeholders to drive adoption, maintain process integrity, support users, and continuously improve the experience for leaders and planning teams.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex processes, partnering with a broad range of stakeholders, and turning feedback into practical improvements.

Key Responsibilities
Workforce Planning Operations
  • Lead the execution and readiness of quarterly Workforce Planning cycles, including communications, testing, reporting, governance activities, and user support.
  • Ensure Workforce Planning remains aligned with Position Governance, Recruitment, Budgeting, and other related processes.
  • Act as the primary coordination point for operational issues, escalations, and continuous improvement opportunities.
Governance & Process Integrity
  • Help maintain the Workforce Planning and Position Governance frameworks and support consistent adoption across the organisation.
  • Monitor planning quality, process compliance, and governance outcomes.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen processes, controls, reporting, and ways of working.
Stakeholder Enablement & Change Management
  • Own Workforce Planning communications, user guidance, documentation, and knowledge management.
  • Maintain learning materials, process documentation, SharePoint content, and knowledge articles.
  • Coordinate stakeholder communities including People Partners, People Business Partners, Finance Business Partners, and Super Users.
