Job summary

SmartConnect Qatar in Aalborg is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. You will join and repair metal parts using MIG, TIG and stick welding, following blueprints and diagrams.

This is a physically demanding role that requires precision, stamina, and the ability to work with complex technical drawings. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, marking workpieces, operating welding equipment, inspecting finished welds, and collaborating with colleagues to complete projects on time.

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Aalborg As a Welder you will be responsible for joining and repairing metal parts using various welding techniques This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with complex blueprints and diagrams

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints schematics and diagrams to determine welding requirements
• Measure and mark workpieces for welding
• Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments together
• Monitor welding process to ensure quality standards are met
• Conduct post-welding inspections to identify any defects or imperfections
• Repair damaged or broken metal parts using appropriate welding techniques
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Welder or similar role preferred but not required
• Ability to read blueprints and understand technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical stamina and strength
• Knowledge of different welding techniques MIG TIG stick etc
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Biometric passport preferred but not required
