Job summary

GEA is seeking a part-time Web Assistant to join the Digital Channels team in Group Communications and Brand. You will help maintain and optimize web content and CMS workflows while supporting content creators across the organization.

The role offers hands-on learning in a global company with an international team and 15 hours per week. You will develop materials and best practices for content owners, improve usability and accessibility, and contribute ideas to enhance our digital platforms.

Qualifications

• Curious about websites, CMS platforms, and digital user experiences.
• Studying Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or related field.
• Willing to learn and develop expertise in content management systems.
• Experience with a CMS is a plus but not required.
• Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Strong written and spoken English, collaborative team player.
• Curious about new digital tools and technologies, including AI.

Your responsibilities and tasks
Are you curious about how websites, content management systems, and digital experiences can shape communication in a global company? At GEA, we are looking for a Web Assistant to join our Digital Channels team within Group Communications and Brand.

This is a hands-on student position for someone who enjoys creating engaging web experiences, improving how digital content is managed, and exploring new technologies. You will support the team in maintaining and optimizing our web and CMS platforms, structuring and publishing content, and empowering content creators across the organization to confidently manage and publish content.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Manage and optimize content across our web and CMS platform to deliver engaging digital experiences.
• Create, publish, and structure content using best practices and web standards.
• Support colleagues across the organization in mastering digital experience tools and creating high-quality web content.
• Help improve website usability, accessibility, and content effectiveness through testing and analysis.
• Develop training materials, guidance, and best practices that enable content owners to work confidently and efficiently.
• Contribute ideas for enhancing our web platforms, content processes, and digital employee experience.

You will join GEA's Group Communications and Brand department as part of the Digital Channels team, which manages GEA's strategic digital channels, including the corporate website and flagship social media channels. You will be part of an international team of digital specialists and student assistants, with room to learn, contribute, and take responsibility as you grow into the role.

The place of employment is Soeborg, near Copenhagen, Denmark. The starting date is October 1st, 2026. We expect you to be able to work 15 hours per week.

Your profile and qualifications

• Curious about websites, CMS platforms, and digital user experiences.
• Currently studying Digital Marketing, Marketing, Communications, Business, IT, or a related field.
• Eager to learn and develop expertise in content management systems.
• Experience with a CMS is a plus but not required.
• Structured, reliable, and attentive to detail.
• Confident in written and spoken English.
• A collaborative team player who enjoys helping others and sharing knowledge.
• Proactive, curious, and comfortable exploring new digital tools and technologies, including AI.
