Talgo ApS is expanding its operations in Denmark and is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our new project in Næstved. The role focuses on SAP-driven operations, material management, and cross-functional communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, material control, or a similar role.
  • Proficient with warehouse management and inventory software systems.
  • Knowledge of stock control, inventory management and material handling processes.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work safely, accurately and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Update and consult information related to incoming and outgoing materials using the designated software application (SW tool).
  • Analyze, plan, and organize material flow and delivery to assembly workstations in coordination with senior management.
  • Monitor and follow up on internally manufactured materials throughout the production flow while maintaining effective communication with all involved departments.
  • Ensure proper management and replenishment of all KANBAN materials.
  • Detect data discrepancies and report errors or inconsistencies to senior management.
  • Move materials using appropriate lifting, handling, and internal transportation equipment.
  • Conduct inventory counts and support stock accuracy initiatives.
  • Follow up and claim required materials from procurement, purchasing, suppliers, and other relevant stakeholders, providing status updates to management.
  • Manage warehouse stock including receiving, storing, counting goods, monitoring shelf life where applicable, and handling expired or rejected items.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and service levels.
  • Operate outdoor vehicles such as vans, trucks, and cars to support operational requirements and resolve logistics issues.
  • Ensure correct receipt, storage, distribution, and internal logistics operations to provide workstations with required materials on time.
  • Pack and palletize all incoming and outgoing materials in accordance with company procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.

About the Role

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage, movement, control, and distribution of materials supporting Talgo warranty operations.
