BEUMER Group in Aarhus is seeking a Software Engineer within Vision and Robotics to develop and maintain software for modular robotics platforms. You will work with the Robot Product Team, collaborate with the TPO, and help translate project feedback into improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Real-time applications development experience in C# and Python.
• Expertise in computer vision and 3D geometry, with focus on point clouds and object recognition.
• Experience or interest in machine learning and signal processing.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes architectures.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles and patterns; experience with Git.
• Understanding of integration with robotic systems and designing interfaces.
• Ability to combine inputs from multiple sensors (cameras, LiDAR, encoders, safety sensors).

Responsibilities

• Improve new software products related to vision and robotic applications and support their use in projects.
• Maintain and develop software applications according to operating model and applicable standards.
• Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, and adherence to guidelines.
• Provide input to automation strategy and technical requirements and set product requirements with the business.
• Test and validate functionalities on local test loop or on sites.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on a common system and evaluate/select technologies for automation and system integration.
