Job summary

Horizon Financial Services is seeking a skilled Turner to join our Roskilde-based team in Denmark. You will operate lathes and milling machines, read blueprints, and measure parts to spec, ensuring precise tolerances across materials like steel and aluminum.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years' experience, strong detail orientation, and the ability to work independently or within a team, with overtime opportunities and visa support for non-local applicants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Turner or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints and determine tolerances.
• Knowledge of metalworking machinery and their functions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances.
• Good stamina and able to lift heavy materials when needed.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate lathes and milling machines to fabricate metal parts.
• Read blueprints and technical drawings to confirm specifications.
• Use micrometers and calipers to verify finished part accuracy.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure reliability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and address defects.
• Follow safety protocols and wear protective equipment.
