Job description

Truck Driver

As a Truck Driver in Horsens you will be responsible for safe and timely transportation of goods and materials to various locations. Your main duty will be operating a truck and ensuring deliveries are made according to schedule. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1600.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck in a safe and efficient manner
• Load and unload goods onto the truck
• Plan routes and schedules for deliveries
• Communicate with dispatchers to ensure efficient delivery times
• Follow traffic laws and company policies at all times
• Perform routine checks on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition
• Report any accidents, damages or delays to the appropriate parties
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and expenses

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license CDL for operating large trucks
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
• Good knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physically fit to handle loading/unloading of goods
• Excellent time management skills
• Good communication skills especially for working with dispatchers

Preferred

• Experience driving in all weather conditions
• Familiarity with GPS navigation systems
• Bilingual Danish/English
