Job summary

Arla Foods amba is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to lead end-to-end warehousing, transport, and distribution. You will coordinate internal teams and 3PL providers to meet order fulfilment targets while upholding safety and compliance across the network.

The role requires 5–8 years in logistics operations, strong leadership, and a solid grasp of WMS/TMS/ERP systems. A proactive, process-improvement mindset will help enhance efficiency and service levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years in warehousing, transportation, distribution, or contract logistics operations.
• Leadership experience with teams and 3PL providers.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transportation, warehousing, food safety, health and safety, and customs.
• Proficiency with WMS, TMS, ERP (Oracle NetSuite, SAP) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee end-to-end warehousing and distribution operations, translating requirements into capacity, manpower, equipment, and routes.
• Act as primary logistics contact for service providers, customers, and cross-functional teams; resolve issues with clear ownership and timelines.
• Ensure inventory control and asset protection through stock management, reconciliations, and loss prevention.
• Promote product integrity by driving compliance with standards, laws, safety, environmental, and customer obligations.
• Manage carrier allocation, routing, delivery scheduling, vehicle utilization, load consolidation, turnaround time, and capacity.
• Coach and develop the logistics operations team and foster a collaborative Arla culture.

How you will make an impact

• You plan and oversee end-to-end warehousing and distribution operations; translating commercial and supply requirements into capacity, manpower, equipment, vehicle, route, and contingency plans that support accurate and timely order fulfilment.
• You act as the primary logistics contact for service providers, customers, and cross-functional teams, resolving operational issues and escalations with clear ownership and timelines.
• You ensure strong inventory control and asset protection through accurate stock management, robust internal controls, regular reconciliations, and effective loss prevention measures.
• You promote product integrity by driving compliance with Arla standards, applicable laws, good warehousing and distribution practices, occupational safety, environmental requirements, and customer obligations.
• You manage carrier allocation, route and delivery scheduling, vehicle utilization, load consolidation, turnaround time, and transport capacity to balance service, safety, and cost.
• You cultivate the Arla culture by coaching and developing the logistics operations team.

The Logistics Operations Manager will be part of the Supply Chain team and will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain.

What will make you successful

• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
• You have at least 5-8 years of progressive experience in warehousing, transportation, distribution, or contract logistics operations in FMCG; minimum of 3 years in a leadership role managing teams and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.
• You have a strong knowledge of Philippine regulatory requirements related to transportation, warehousing, food safety, occupational health and safety, and customs
• You are proficient in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), ERP systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, SAP), and Microsoft Office applications.
• You are organized, results-driven, thrives in a dynamic work environment, able to create sound decisions and demonstrates ownership
• You can do thorough data analysis and confidently communicate results and insights for action planning
