Aalborg University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in Time Series Analysis and Econometrics. The appointment is full-time (37 hours per week) and starts 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter, located at Aalborg University's campus in Aalborg, Denmark.

The role combines research and teaching responsibilities within GREAT, with opportunities for international collaboration and external funding applications.

Qualifications

• PhD in a relevant field with strong research potential.
• Demonstrated autonomy in education and employment.
• Experience from several universities and/or research institutions, preferably international.
• Excellent communication skills.
• English at an academic level.
• Eligible for permanent employment as associate professor after the tenure track.

Responsabilités

• Develop an independent research agenda in Time Series Analysis and Econometrics.
• Publish high-quality research and seek external funding.
• Teach and supervise in statistics, econometrics, time series at bachelor, master and PhD levels.
• Collaborate within the department and with national and international partners.
• Contribute to development of courses and degree programs.
