Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tiler.
• Knowledge of different tile materials and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
• Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled.
• Cut tiles to the appropriate size and shape using power tools or hand tools.
• Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling and applying adhesive.
• Install tiles in a variety of patterns including mosaic, brickwork or diagonal layout.
• Grout tiles after installation to fill gaps between them.
• Repair or replace damaged or cracked tiles.
• Ensure that the finished product is free of defects.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
