Job summary

Aarhus University seeks a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Advanced Practice Nursing in the Department of Public Health, Faculty of Health Sciences. The position is a fixed-term full-time role with the possibility of transition to a tenured associate professorship, starting 1 January 2027 or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful candidate will conduct high-quality research and teach at Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, collaborating with Danish and international colleagues.

Qualifications

• Requires a PhD and a track record of independent high-quality research.
• Teaching, supervision of Master’s and PhD students, and pedagogical development are essential.
• Experience with coordinating research activities and fostering collaborations is valued.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent research of international standard and publish results.
• Teach and supervise Master’s and PhD students and contribute to assessments.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration across professions and sectors.
• Pursue external research funding and contribute to section development.
• Coordinate and develop the research section and promote a collaborative environment.
