Job summary

Interform A/S is seeking a Technical Project Manager for implementation projects, splitting responsibilities between half project management and half hands-on delivery. You will manage scope, plan, budget, and customer commitments for large ERP-related implementations, coordinating delivery resources and timelines across teams.

The role involves both German and English language work with international customers.

Qualifications

• Several years running IT or enterprise software implementation projects end to end.
• Hands-on delivery experience in addition to project management.
• Experience with ERP environments is an advantage.
• Experience coordinating distributed or offshore teams is an advantage.
• Formal project management training (IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2 or Scrum) is welcome, but practice counts more.

Responsibilities

• Own scope, plan, budget and customer commitments for our larger implementation projects.
• Plan the consultants, our delivery team and development into the project.
• Keep the overview on hours, timesheets and the internal budget.
• Explain variances honestly - a new customer requirement, or an estimate we got wrong.
• Run the regular calls with the consultants, and the customer calls alongside them.
• Raise a change request when scope moves, rather than absorbing it.
• Write the recap of what was agreed - we do not work from a customer recap with new tasks quietly added to it.
• Coordinate with the project manager on the customer side.
• Run internal initiatives as projects too - packages, standards and improvements, not only customer work.
• Implement InterformNG2 at customers - configuration, workflows, templates and integration with our ERP and industry solutions.
• Run customer workshops and requirements analysis, with a technical consultant alongside you where it helps.
• Turn what is agreed into a plan we can actually deliver.
• Support testing, go-live and handover to the customer's own team.
• Contribute to our documentation and best-practice packages.

Technical Project Manager - Output Management

Interform A/S is recruiting a Technical Project Manager for our InterformNG2 implementation projects - half project management, half hands-on delivery.

As our projects grow in size and complexity, we are strengthening how we run them: every larger implementation gets a dedicated project manager on our side. That is the seat we are recruiting for.

The split is deliberate - around 50% project management and 50% delivery. It reflects our current project volume, and we will keep it under review with you as that volume develops. You run the projects: scope, plan, budget and customer commitments. And you stay close enough to the solution to know what you are committing to.

The work is international - our customers and partners are spread across Europe, the Americas and Asia, and the team works in English. A large share of our customer base is German-speaking, so you will run projects in both German and English.

The role reports to the Head of Customer Success.

Key responsibilities

What we are looking for

Experience

• Several years running IT or enterprise software implementation projects end to end - scope, plan, budget, delivery


• A technical background you still use: implementation, configuration or consulting. This role keeps you hands-on, and half your time is delivery


• Experience holding scope and change-request conversations with customers, and making them stick


• Experience with ERP environments is an advantage


• Experience coordinating distributed or offshore teams is an advantage


• Formal project management training (IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2 or Scrum) is welcome, but practice counts for more

Skills and mindset

• German and English, both fluent. A large share of our customers work in German; our team and our international customers and partners work in English


• Structured - you keep a plan current, and you say early when it slips


• Comfortable switching between running a project and doing the work in it


• Direct with customers: able to hold a scope line in a friendly way


• Comfortable owning a commitment rather than reporting on one


• Practical about tooling, including AI-assisted work on documentation and testing
