Opoura, based in Denmark, seeks an experienced operational lead to own end-to-end delivery of technically demanding customer projects in the energy sector. You will coordinate customers, engineers, and commercial commitments while aligning scope and timelines.
You will also engage in initiatives spanning systems, processes, digitalization and delivery enablement, guiding decisions, removing obstacles for engineers, and ensuring cross-functional alignment for smooth project delivery.
We're on a growth journey, driven by deep knowledge and skilled colleagues shaping the future of energy. Together, we deliver smart, scalable solutions that help our clients succeed in the energy transition. Do you want to be part of igniting what's next in energy?
You will join Operations in Digital Services, where you report to Dennis Hansen, Senior Manager of Operational Enablement. Together, you work to strengthen scalable and financially disciplined delivery across consultancy and grid-related services.
You connect customers, engineers, and commercial commitments and turn complex requirements into well-managed deliveries and build alignment across the organization.
As operational lead for assigned projects, you will own end-to-end delivery and serve as the primary interface among customers, technical teams, and internal functions. Besides a varied portfolio of customer projects, you will also engage in internal initiatives involving systems, processes, digitalization, operational improvement, and delivery enablement.
This role calls for more than project coordination. Your technical foundation will help you guide decisions and challenge assumptions, risks, and delivery constraints. By removing obstacles for the engineering teams and securing cross-functional alignment on projects, you enable smooth project delivery.
Own customer-facing technical projects from planning through delivery, aligning scope, schedule, quality, and financial expectations.
Lead customer dialogue and translate technical requirements into clear priorities.
Build alignment among customer expectations, commercial commitments, technical delivery, and operational capabilities.
Contribute to technical discussions on electrical design, grid connection, and solution delivery, challenging assumptions and resolving clarifications.
Identify and manage technical, operational, financial, and delivery risks, escalating critical matters appropriately.
Contribute to standardized governance and execution frameworks that strengthen scalable project delivery.
Build customer trust through technical credibility and transparent project leadership.
Create clarity across complex interfaces and keep stakeholders moving toward shared outcomes.
Take ownership, follow through on commitments, and remain effective when priorities or project conditions change.
Apply critical thinking to risks, requirements, and proposed solutions rather than accepting assumptions.
Bring useful structure to project delivery without adding unnecessary process.
Solve problems proactively while keeping delivery quality and business expectations in mind.
Ideally, you are an engineer with a strong electrical foundation who has transitioned into the project management field. You enjoy the technical substance of a project and are motivated by customer dialogue and accountability for delivery.
We imagine that you bring:
A foundation in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or equivalent technical experience.
Experience leading technically complex projects and coordinating several workstreams or projects concurrently.
Practical understanding of electrical design and power systems analysis.
Experience with EPC workflows and grid requirements.
Experience from Owner's Engineering, grid connection, transmission or distribution system operators, renewable energy developers, or wind and solar projects is an advantage.
Willingness to travel for project needs, up to approximately 20 days per year.
End-to-end responsibility for technically demanding customer projects.
A newly established role you can influence as you help scope our project workflows across Digital Services.
An international and collaborative culture, where commercial, technical, and domain expertise come together.
Flexible work practices that support a sustainable work–life balance
Talented and knowledgeable colleagues who challenge and support each other
