At BlinkTroll, we’re building next-generation training systems and defense technology used by military and police forces across Europe. Our mission is simple but urgent: to support the defenders of the free world with powerful, practical, and life‑saving technology.

We’re now looking for a Technical Lead to join our team in Odense, someone who enjoys combining technical leadership, system thinking, and hands‑on engineering while helping guide our products from prototype to deployment.

This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who wants to play a central role in a small, ambitious, and purpose‑driven company, shaping both technology and execution as we grow.

What You’ll Do

• Lead technical development across embedded systems, robotics, and software projects
• Guide architecture decisions and ensure robust system integration
• Work closely with hardware, embedded, software, and mechanical engineers
• Support the transition from prototype systems to production‑ready solutions
• Contribute hands‑on to development when needed (firmware, software, or system integration)
• Collaborate with leadership on technical strategy and roadmap
• Support technical documentation and project reporting
• Experience working with funded projects (EU programs, defense funding, innovation grants, or research collaborations)
• Ability to contribute to technical proposals, project planning, and reporting

Who You Are

• 4+ years of experience in embedded systems, robotics, or software engineering
• Experience leading projects or technical teams (formal or informal leadership)
• Strong system‑level understanding of hardware–software integration
• Comfortable making technical decisions in fast‑moving environments
• Structured, pragmatic, and collaborative
• Interested in building real‑world systems that must work reliably outside the lab
• Based in or near Odense, or willing to work on‑site most of the time
• Eligible for security clearance
