Job summary

COWI is seeking an Electrical Designer specializing in substation secondary systems to support high-voltage projects in Denmark. The role involves creating detailed electrical designs and documentation for control and monitoring systems, interfacing with protection equipment and auxiliary power supplies, and contributing throughout project delivery.

You will primarily work at a COWI office in Denmark, with potential for remote work or client-site assignments, and travel to substations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical schematics and wiring diagrams for substation control and monitoring systems.
• Translate functional requirements into detailed electrical drawings and technical documentation in accordance with applicable standards and client requirements.
• Review electrical drawings for technical accuracy, consistency and compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate electrical interfaces between primary equipment, control and protection systems, and auxiliary power supplies.
• Provide electrical design support throughout the delivery of high-voltage substation projects.
