Job summary

Terma Group is seeking a Student Worker in Security to support risk management, physical security and crisis management. You will work with a small team, collecting data and assisting with assessments to gain practical experience in an international, high‑tech defense context.

The role offers around 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling to fit academic commitments. You will learn about access control, CCTV, security documentation and background checks while contributing to daily security

Responsibilities

• Collect, structure and analyze data related to Enterprise Risk Management.

• Support Travel Security and Physical Security tasks.
• Assist with background checks and clearance processes.
• Support day-to-day security tasks.

Your role in our team

As our new Student Worker in Security, you will support the department with a variety of tasks across risk management, physical security and crisis management. In this role, you will work closely with experienced specialists and gain practical experience with how risk and security are managed in an international organization. You will become part of a small Security department with six colleagues, where we work closely together and value an open and supportive way of working. We share knowledge, help each other when needed, and aim to create a good environment for both collaboration and learning.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

• Collecting, structuring and analyzing data related to Enterprise Risk Management.
• Supporting security risk assessments and helping prepare relevant information and documentation.
• Participating in the planning and preparation of crisis management exercises.
• Supporting administrative tasks related to security systems, including access control, CCTV and burglar alarm systems.
• Assisting with administrative tasks within Travel Security and Physical Security.
• Supporting background checks and Security Clearance process.
• Supporting the team with other day-to-day tasks within Security.

The practicalities

Working hours are around 15 hours per week, depending on task load and priorities. Working hours are flexible and will be adapted to fit your academic schedule, as we understand that your education remains your top priority.
