Job summary

The LEGO Group is seeking a content-focused student to help manage content planning, publishing and QA for live content. You will monitor the LEGO Life app community, report on trends, and assist with magazine proofing and UGC handling.

You will create ad-hoc content, contribute ideas in brainstorms, and stay current with digital trends to inspire the 8-12 year old audience. This role supports a global team in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master student in Digital Design, Marketing or related field.
  • Interest in LEGO, digital platforms and trends.
  • Wants to work in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Attention to detail and a systematic approach to challenges.
  • Eager to learn and be part of a global team.
  • Fluent English; other languages are a plus.

Job description

Core Responsibilities
  • Content management including but not limited to, content planning, content publishing and driving quality assurance of live content
  • Keeping a close eye on the community in the LEGO Life app and reporting on content performance and trends
  • Proofing of our LEGO Life magazine and handling of UGC submissions
  • Creating adhoc content or copy where needed
  • Bringing enthusiasm and ideas to creative brainstorms
  • Staying up to date with landscape trends and insights from our competitors to inspire the team with new ideas for content, games and events - especially for the 8-12 year old audience
Do you have what it takes?
  • Student at Bachelor or Master level
  • Degrees in the fields of Digital Design, Communication, Marketing will be beneficial
  • Has an interest in LEGO, digital platforms, the latest digital trends and content management
  • Wants to work in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Has attention to detail and a systematic approach to challenges
  • Eager to learn and be part of a global team
  • An ambitious self-starter who will take initiative
  • Has experience in communication or digital design (this is a plus, though not mandatory)
  • English at fluent level is required as this is the standard office language. Other languages are a positive plus.

  • Thrives and contributes in a team setting
  • Previous experience working with content management systems (CMS) or on social media, gaming or other online platforms - both professionally or in their spare time.
