Job summary

Aarhus Universitet's Department of Management is seeking a part-time student assistant for the AUFF project Designing Organizational Search: A Tournament Study. You will help design and develop the web-based problem-solving game and analyze how individuals, teams, and AI solve complex problems.

You are likely studying cognitive science or a related field. Flexible hours, remote work most of the time with one day per week on site in Aarhus, starting October 15 or as soon as possible.

Qualifications

Genuine research interest in how people search complex problem spaces, decide under uncertainty, learn and coordinate, and compare with AI.
Likely studying cognitive science, psychology, behavioral science, HCI or a related field with a strong behavioral focus.

Responsibilities

Help design and test the project's web-based problem-solving game, including task design, front and backend, experimental conditions, participant flow, and behavioral data logging.
Contribute to research design by reviewing theory and translating concepts into experimental measures.
Help run pilot studies comparing individuals, teams, and AI agents in search and decision-making.
