Job summary

Netcompany is looking for a Student Assistant to support security operations, focusing on threat hunting, SIEM/EDR tasks, and assisting in configuring alerts and monitoring. You will join Netcompany Operations and our security team, working roughly 16 hours per week to help define guidelines and strengthen detection capabilities.

You will develop in Windows and Linux environments and gain exposure to monitoring and incident response while being eligible for PET security clearance.

Qualifications

• Final year student in engineering/CS/IT.
• Experience with Windows and Linux.
• Knowledge of SIEM or EDR.
• Proficient in Danish or English (written and spoken).
• Eligible for PET security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Investigate patterns and implement alerts and visualisations in our SIEM to detect suspicious events.
• Respond to alerts from SIEM and EDR, adjusting them for precision.
• Configure integrations between SIEM and other systems and environments, including Cloud and containers.
• Configure and monitor IDS/IPS solutions.
