Job summary

Centrica Energy is seeking a student intern to join our international energy trading team in Denmark. This part-time role provides hands-on experience in pricing requests for wind and solar assets, data processing, and development of internal tools, while you study.

You will collaborate with operators, support contract management, and contribute to market analyses and new initiatives. Location options include Copenhagen or Aalborg, with a minimum of 12 hours per week and start date as soon as

Qualifications

You are currently studying a degree in business, natural sciences, engineering, mathematics, or a related field
You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
You enjoy working with data and ideally have some experience with Python or R. Knowledge of SQL and TypeScript/Angular is an advantage
You work in a structured and independent manner and are eager to take initiative
You have excellent Italian language skills and good English proficiency

Responsibilities

Support pricing requests for wind and solar assets
Process, analyse, and visualise production data
Communicate with operators of wind and solar parks
Support contract management activities
Contribute to internal tools development (Python, TypeScript/Angular)
Bring in and further develop your own ideas by contributing to market analyses, new business initiatives, and internal projects
