AGC Biologics in Søborg, Denmark, is seeking a student assistant to join the Process Development, Downstream team for about 8 hours per week. You will help prepare buffers and support routine lab tasks in a GMP-regulated environment.
We value reliability, curiosity, and careful documentation (GDocP) and expect you to be a university student in pharmacy, biotechnology, or a related field with at least two years remaining in your studies.
AGC Biologics is a contract manufacturing organization within the biotech industry. We work with the development of biopharmaceutical production processes as well as GMP manufacturing of biopharmaceutical proteins for both clinical trials and commercial production.
AGC’s Process Development, Downstream department is looking for a student assistant working approximately 8 hours per week. You will become part of the Process Development department, which is responsible for developing and optimizing purification processes for biological medicines.
Your primary responsibility will be preparing buffers in the laboratory. In addition, you will occasionally support other tasks such as database updates, archiving, calibration of scales, and laboratory-related activities. Through this role, you will gain insight into what it is like to work in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical environment.
A large part of the work will be carried out independently, and it is therefore important that you are comfortable taking responsibility and working in a structured manner. We place great emphasis on GDocP (Good Documentation Practice), and you should therefore be able to work methodically and precisely while documenting your work processes.
As the primary tasks take place in the laboratory, we expect you to have experience working in a laboratory environment. Furthermore, we expect you to be reliable, flexible, curious, and motivated to learn.
Please note that we are only able to consider candidates who are already based in Denmark, as relocation support is not available for this position.
For questions about the position, please contact Silvia Pirrung at silvia.pirrung@agc.com.
