Job summary

Maersk is seeking a Student Assistant to join the Finance Business Partnering team in Copenhagen. You will translate financial insights into clear recommendations, owning recurring reporting and supporting decision-making with senior stakeholders.

You are a Master’s student in Finance or Accounting with strong analytical skills, English proficiency, and a curiosity to learn. Expect to work 15–20 hours weekly at Esplanaden 50 and start on 1 October for an eight‑month contract.

Qualifications

• Studying Finance or Accounting at a Danish university at Master’s level.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Strong problem-solving and data-analytics mindset.

Responsibilities

• Performance management: own recurring reporting and translate data into insights for stakeholders.
• Problem solving: analyze challenges, identify root causes and shape recommendations.
• Business partnering: support ad hoc analysis and act as a sparring partner for finance and business.
