Job summary

EY-Parthenon in Copenhagen seeks a graduate Strategy & M&A Consultant to join the Strategy & Execution team in winter 2026 or August 2027. You will collaborate with diverse teams to help clients grow, reshape portfolios, and reinvent themselves for long-term value.

You will work across corporate strategy, commercial & operational due diligence, and transaction execution, with opportunities to specialize as you progress. An entrepreneurial mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree at the top of the class in economics, finance, IT, business administration, engineering or related field.
• Graduation in 2026 or will graduate in 2027.
• Proficiency in English and preferably another European language.
• Track record of relevant professional and/or extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop growth and portfolio strategies for clients in corporate strategy.
• Advise on commercial and operational due diligence during high-profile transactions.
• Support transaction execution across the M&A lifecycle, including post-merger integration and value realization.

In the Strategy & Execution team, we work with leading clients to help them grow, reshape their portfolios, and reinvent themselves to deliver value for the future. We work across diverse areas, covering corporate strategy, commercial & operational due diligence and transaction execution. You will work across areas and get the opportunity to specialize as you progress:

• Corporate strategy: Develop growth and portfolio strategies by helping firms identify attractive markets, unlock new opportunities, and make high-impact strategic decisions.
• Commercial and operational due diligence: Advise leading clients on high-profile transactions by assessing commercial value drivers (market, customer and competitor), operational performance and technology risks, while identifying growth and cost optimization opportunities.
• Transaction execution: Advise clients throughout the M&A lifecycle, helping define transaction strategies, set priorities, execute post-merger integrations, carve-outs and realization of strategic and operational potential.

Qualifications:

• You have completed a master’s degree at the top of your class in economics, finance, IT, business administration, engineering or a related field
• You graduated in 2026 or will graduate in 2027
• You have proficiency in English and preferably another European language
• Ideally, you can demonstrate a track record of relevant professional and/or extracurricular activities, e.g., student job, volunteering, internship, semester abroad, etc.
