Job summary

Vestas in Ringkøbing, Denmark, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality improvements, resolve complex NCRs, and collaborate with global teams to deliver world‑class wind energy solutions.

You will manage RCAs, lead corrective and preventive actions at supplier locations, and partner with Production, Engineering, Sourcing and Quality to reduce CoPQ while upholding ISO 9001/VDA 6.3 processes and strong environmental, health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years in Quality Assurance or Supplier Quality roles.
• Experience with quality management tools and problem solving in manufacturing.
• ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor qualification or VDA 6.3 experience.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent with DMAIC experience.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 / ISO 45001 is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Ensure supplier quality performance across all production material groups at Ringkøbing site.
• Act as link between suppliers, production, and cross-functional teams to drive quality excellence.
• Lead resolution of supplier-related non-conformities (NCRs).
• Review and approve RCAs from suppliers for effective resolution.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions at supplier locations to prevent recurrence.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (CoPQ).
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Sourcing, Logistics, and Quality teams to address supplier performance.
• Interface with Regional and Global SQ&D teams and external suppliers/customers.
• Support proactive supplier quality management to improve product quality and operations.
