Job summary

Danish Red Cross is seeking a high-level Partnership Advisor to drive private sector and foundation engagement across international contexts. You will develop multi-year strategies, manage high-value partnerships, and lead innovative collaboration models with businesses and foundations.

The role requires senior relationship-building, negotiation, and governance across regions, aiming to diversify funding and strengthen humanitarian impact.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as Business, International Affairs or International Development.
• Proven track record in securing high-value private sector or foundation partnerships.
• Strong experience with multi-year and multi-stakeholder partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year strategy for private sector and foundation engagement.
• Build and convert a pipeline of high-value partnership opportunities with income growth goals.
• Advise senior management on trends and opportunities in private sector philanthropy.
• Develop innovative partnership models beyond traditional grants, including co-creation.
• Support country and regional teams to identify and pursue high-potential partnerships.
• Lead governance, delivery oversight and growth opportunities in partnerships.
• Expand strategic partnerships across new geographies and thematic areas.
• Ensure partnership stewardship across grant lifecycles with cross-functional teams.
• Represent DRC in networks and Movement platforms related to private sector engagement.
