Job summary

Ambu is seeking a Project Sourcing Manager to drive end-to-end sourcing for NPD and technology development projects from concept through ramp-up, coordinating with R&D, Quality, and Global Supply Chain. You will also manage selected category responsibilities and ensure compliant, cost-effective supplier engagements throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in procurement with project sourcing/NPD exposure.
• Experience in cross-functional project teams with R&D and product development.
• Strong negotiation, cost modeling, and contract execution skills.
• Ability to run RFI/RFQ/RFP processes and supplier comparisons.
• Analytical with ability to translate complexity into sourcing recommendations.
• Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing in NPD, sourcing, and technology development projects from concept to handover.
• Drive supplier and material selection, make/buy decisions, and sourcing strategies aligned with milestones.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP activities for project-specific sourcing and negotiate contracts.
• Enable early supplier involvement to support design-to-cost and manufacturability.
• Own procurement inputs to business cases, cost drivers, CAPEX, lead times, lifecycle considerations.
• Identify and mitigate supply, capacity, and technology risks with quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support supplier strategy execution and handover from project to category sourcing.
