LEGO Group Education Engineering in Billund, Denmark seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build a new event management system powering LEGO League events worldwide.
You will design and implement APIs using REST and GraphQL, develop frontend in TypeScript/React, and collaborate with Product, Design and other engineering teams. Relocation is not offered; hybrid work policy may apply.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping a platform that directly impacts communities of students, coaches and volunteers around the world.

The program significantly enhances students’ learning experiences by fostering motivation and inspiration in STEM. It empowers students to discover their potential and capabilities, often revealing to them that they can achieve more than they initially believed.
You will work within LEGO Education Engineering, consisting of a talented team of software, firmware, platform and quality engineers.
Your background can be diverse, but it would be an advantage if you have a background (knowledge or exposure) to FIRST LEGO League or worked with Event Planning features previously. The ideal candidate also brings solid experience in designing, implementing, and integrating APIs using both REST and GraphQL. You have strong proficiency in TypeScript and frameworks such as React and you have experience within Test Driven Development. Finally, we also expect that you will be used to leveraging AI tools and a clear understanding of how to integrate AI capabilities into products.
