Job description

Copenhagen International Fashion Fair (CIFF) is looking for a relationship-driven and commercially minded Sponsor & Partnership Manager to join our Marketing Team in Copenhagen.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who knows how to build meaningful partnerships, open doors, negotiate great deals and turn ideas into successful long-term collaborations. You’ll work across a broad range of industries – from fashion, beauty and lifestyle to tech, automobile, media, culture and beyond – so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable moving between different worlds and speaking to people at every level.

You’ll report directly to the Marketing Director and work closely with the wider marketing team including the CIFF Media Podcast Lead, to develop and deliver CIFF’s sponsorship and partnership strategy.

The Role

As Sponsor & Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and managing commercial partnerships that strengthen the CIFF experience and create value for both our partners and the fair.

You will own partnerships from research and prospecting through meetings, pitching and negotiation to delivery, follow‑up and reporting.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Researching and identifying relevant companies and organisations for potential sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective partners across relevant industries.
  • Developing creative and commercially relevant partnership proposals tailored to individual companies and their objectives.
  • Research and reach out to potential partners and confidently building relationships from first contact through to signed agreement and handholding through the deliverables in close collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Leading meetings and negotiations with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Managing existing sponsor and partner relationships, ensuring strong communication, delivery and long‑term development.
  • Working closely with the Marketing Director and wider marketing team to ensure partnerships align with CIFF’s overall brand, marketing and business objectives.
  • Collaborating internally with relevant teams to ensure agreed partnership activations are delivered to a high standard.
  • Tracking partnership activity, collecting relevant data and preparing clear reports on pipeline, performance, revenue and partner development.
  • Monitoring market and industry trends to identify new partnership opportunities and potential categories for CIFF.
  • Supporting the development of new sponsorship products, concepts and commercial opportunities.
  • Potentially managing and mentoring an intern who will support with research, prospecting, data collection and reporting.
About You

We’re looking for someone with 3+ years of experience in sponsorships, partnerships, business development or a similar commercial relationship-focused role.

Ideally, you have experience from creative, fashion, lifestyle, media, entertainment, culture or events industries.

You are someone who:

  • Has a proven track record of developing and managing partnerships or sponsorships.
  • Enjoys researching, prospecting and finding the right people and companies to approach.
  • Is proactive and confident initiating conversations and building relationships from scratch.
  • Is a strong negotiator who can balance commercial objectives with long‑term relationships.
  • Is comfortable meeting and communicating with people at all levels of an organisation.
  • Can move easily between different industries, cultures and types of stakeholders.
  • Has strong commercial awareness and understands how to create compelling value propositions.
  • Is organised and able to manage multiple conversations, negotiations and projects at the same time.
  • Is comfortable working with numbers, data and reporting - and understands the importance of keeping a clear overview of pipeline and performance.
  • Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Is proactive, curious and not afraid to pick up the phone, send the email or walk into the meeting.
  • Enjoy working in a fast‑moving, creative environment where no two partnership opportunities are necessarily the same.
  • Fluently speaks and writes highly proficient English.

At CIFF, you'll be part of an ambitious, international team operating at the intersection of fashion, lifestyle, culture and business. We offer a collaborative and fast‑paced environment where creativity, initiative and strong relationships are highly valued.

You’ll have the chance to make a visible impact as well as the opportunity to take ownership and contribute to the continued development of one of the fashion industry's most influential platforms.
