Job summary

Danish Crown A/S is seeking a skilled Group Finance Controller to drive external reporting, group consolidation and financial controlling at group level. You will work across borders with Group Executive Management and local teams on integration, standardisation and automation.

The role involves IFRS knowledge, consolidation experience, and collaboration across international stakeholders to support the finance transformation journey.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience from an audit firm or similar role within Group Finance, Financial Reporting or Controlling.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and external financial reporting.
• Experience with consolidation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders in Danish and English.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to external reporting, including the Group annual report and local statutory reports.
• Prepare technical accounting assessments for complex transactions.
• Support implementation of new IFRS standards and other reporting requirements.
• Act as sparring partner to finance functions and stakeholders.
• Contribute to group-wide projects and align processes across the Danish Crown Group.
• Support group consolidation activities and review reporting from subsidiaries.
• Manage controlling of subsidiaries (approx. 10–15 travel days annually).
• Assist in ESG reporting and compliance initiatives.

Are you ready to be part of a dynamic and ambitious Group Finance team driving accounting excellence in one of Denmark's largest international companies? Then join Danish Crown on our transformation journey to develop a stronger, more integrated and more date driven finance organisation.

As a member of our Group Finance team, you will play a central role in external reporting, group consolidation and financial controlling at group level with a strong focus on integration, standardisation and automation. You will work closely with Group Executive Management, local finance teams and external auditors while contributing to Danish Crown's finance transformation journey.

As a controller, you will work across borders, functions, and business units in an international setting.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Contribute to external reporting, including the Danish Crown Group annual report, local statutory annual reports in Denmark, and the coordination of local statutory annual reports for foreign subsidiaries.
• Prepare technical accounting assessments for complex transactions and business events.
• Support implementation of new IFRS standards and other reporting requirements.
• Acting as a sparring partner to finance functions and other stakeholders in the organisation.
• Contribute to group-wide projects, such as our transformation journey as well as refining internal reporting standards and guidelines and aligning processes across Danish Crown Group.
• Support and perform group consolidation activities, including review and analysis of reporting from subsidiaries across the Danish Crown Group.
• Controlling of subsidiaries across the Danish Crown Group (expect around 10-15 travel days annually).
• Assist in setting up ESG reporting and other compliance initiatives.

You likely bring

• A minimum of 4 years of experience from an audit firm or a similar role within Group Finance, Financial Reporting or Controlling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a keen attention to detail.
• An educational background such as Master of Science (MSc) in Business Administration and Auditing or Management Accounting and Control, Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Financial and Management Accounting), or equivalent.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and external financial reporting.
• Experience with consolidation.
• Work with ease in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
• Skilled at communicating your area of expertise clearly to stakeholders both in Danish and in English.
• A structured, proactive and collaborative mindset, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic international environment undergoing continuous transformation and change
