Job summary

Danske Commodities is seeking a hands-on product engineer to own and improve our digital customer journey. You’ll build and evolve customer-facing apps with Microsoft Power Platform and Angular, creating intuitive, reliable experiences that matter to our users.

You will translate needs into practical user journeys and workflows, collaborate with product design, management, and architecture, and ensure smooth data flows between systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions in Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript or modern web development.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dataverse and its data structures.
• Experience implementing workflows or automations with Power Automate.
• Ability to work with APIs and integrations between applications and systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve customer-facing applications using Power Platform and Angular.
• Configure and develop business processes and automations to reduce onboarding work.
• Work with Dataverse and ensure data flows between products and connected systems.
• Collaborate with Product Design, Product Management, Architecture and business users.

Here’s what the job entails

In this role, you will develop and continuously improve the digital products supporting our customer journey, including our Counterparty Management System (CMS). Microsoft Power Platform is at the core of the role, complemented by Angular and modern web development where it creates the right customer and business outcome

You will translate customer and business needs into practical user journeys, workflows and functionality. Together with product crew, you will build reliable, maintainable solutions, take technical ownership within agreed solution areas and share responsibility for their ongoing operation and improvement.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

• building and improving customer-facing applications and functionality using Microsoft Power Platform and Angular
• configuring and developing business processes and automations using Power Automate and business process flows to reduce manual onboarding work
• working with Microsoft Dataverse and collaborating with other engineers to ensure information flows correctly between our products and connected systems
• collaborating closely with Product Design, Product Management, Architecture and business users to understand needs, explore solutions, test assumptions and refine user experience
• maintaining and improving existing functionality, troubleshooting issues, documenting solutions and sharing knowledge to support sustainable operation and development

You will join our Customer Journey Technology team, where we build and evolve digital capabilities supporting the customer journey, from initial offer and contract to onboarding and ongoing operations. Our products bring together customer, contract and asset information as well as related workflows, reducing fragmented systems and manual handovers. We work across product design, engineering, data and business functions to deliver solutions that create measurable business value.

Our team includes colleagues with backgrounds in product, design, software, data and platform development. • have experience Angular, TypeScript or modern web development
• are familiar with Microsoft Dataverse and its data structures
• have implemented workflows or automations using Power Automate or business process flows
• are comfortable working with APIs and integrations between applications and systems
• approach development with an engineering mindset, considering reliability, maintainability and long‑term technical quality
• have experience troubleshooting, maintaining and improving business applications in collaboration with technical and non‑technical colleagues

Please note that prior knowledge of the energy sector is not required for this role.
