Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our WBS team. The role focuses on maintaining the integrity of our flagship compliance product—a secure, end‑to‑end encrypted whistleblowing platform used across Europe. The position starts at 46,000DKK per month and can grow up to 52,000DKK.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑security features, ensuring end‑to‑end encryption and data privacy standards are never compromised.
• Focus on system reliability, implementing thoughtful improvements to a mature codebase for long‑term maintainability.
• Ensure code reliability and performance through testing patterns and a disciplined approach to database design.
• Collaborate across Engineering, Product, and Design to evaluate feature feasibility and define efficient technical implementations.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical debt, helping to protect the structural integrity and security of the flagship product.

Qualifications

• Professional experience in a Software Engineering role, building and maintaining scalable web applications in production.
• Experience with at least one server‑side language—PHP is preferred.
• Knowledge of a modern front‑end framework (Angular) is a plus.
• Strong ability to produce clean, maintainable, and well‑structured code.
• Security‑conscious mindset; experience in encryption or cryptography is a plus.
• Good testing practices.
