We areAdnami, a Danish AdTech scale-up that is changing the digital media landscape. Since 2019, we have been helping brands and agencies run campaigns that actually get noticed (we act with attention!).
- Share of Voice — high-impact formats expand and fill the viewport gradually, so we redesigned how we sample screen real estate over time to reflect the true presence of a format rather than a single moment
- In-app measurement — advertisers increasingly care about in-app environments, so we extended our measurement coverage there by integrating with the industry-standard OMID API
- ETL performance — as event volumes grow, our data pipelines need to keep up; we've been optimising throughput and resource efficiency so the data our customers and internal teams rely on stays timely and reliable
- Resilient global infrastructure — our Geode API serves requests globally, and we've been hardening it with health checks and self-healing behaviour so it stays up without manual intervention
- Cross-format engagement measurement — video and audio formats behave very differently at runtime, and we're working to make sure our measurement of engagement and viewability is consistent and meaningful across all of them
The problems range from measurement logic and system performance to careful release engineering and platform integration. Operational work, debugging production issues, improving observability, addressing reliability, is part of the job too, but it is not the majority of it.
How we work
We are a small engineering team. Engineers are expected to understand the systems they work on broadly, participating in technical decisions, helping shape solutions together with product and commercial teams, and owning systems in production, not just implementing isolated tickets. We work in Shape Up cycles: six-week development periods with a defined scope and no rolling backlog, followed by room for iteration, cleanup, and technical improvements. Engineers work closely with product and commercial teams when deciding what problems are worth solving next. There is very little organizational distance between an engineering decision and its impact on customers.
Our stack
- Snowflake
- Infrastructure-as-code
Experience with all of these is not required. We care more about strong engineering fundamentals, ownership, and the ability to reason about systems.
You will probably enjoy this role if you
- Care about correctness, reliability, and data quality
- Are comfortable owning systems in production, including infrastructure and deployments
- Prefer pragmatic solutions over unnecessary complexity
- Like working closely with other engineers to improve systems together
What we offer
- Birthday Day Off
- Referral Program
- A fast-paced environment
- Flexible working environment where the results are what matters
- A young and dynamic workplace
- A lovely office in central Copenhagen
- A warm and friendly atmosphere where we work hard together but also enjoy each other's company, not seldom with a drink in hand on Fridays.
