Job summary

Norefjell Skisenter AS is seeking a dedicated Ski Technician to maintain and service skis and snowboards in the resort's workshop. You will handle both the rental fleet and guests' equipment, ensuring safety, quality and efficient service during the winter season.

The role requires precise workmanship, good English communication, and the ability to work independently in a busy environment with strong attention to detail. Accommodation and employee discounts are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a ski workshop or ski service department is preferred.
• Knowledge of Wintersteiger machinery is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail and quality.
• Good understanding of alpine skis, snowboards and bindings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and prepare alpine skis and snowboards for daily use.
• Perform machine and manual ski servicing including base grinding and edge tuning.
• Prepare and maintain rental ski fleet to keep equipment safe and functional.
• Carry out repairs and adjustments to skis, snowboards and bindings as needed.
• Ensure proper handling and preparation before returning to guests or rentals.
• Follow safety procedures and operate workshop machinery responsibly.
• Provide professional customer service and explain services to guests.
• Cooperate with ski rental, ski shop and other resort departments.
