Job summary

Bruegger's Bagels in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Shift Leader to support the General Manager, motivate the team, and ensure a great guest experience. You will open and close the store, coach staff, and help maintain food quality and a clean, safe environment. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to grow within Bagel Brands.

Starting pay ranges from $11.67 to $18.67 per hour, depending on experience and location, with benefits and tip eligibility where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work varied hours including early hours and weekends.
• Able to pass background check as applicable.
• ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training.
• Possession of a current, valid driver's license (preferred but not required at all locations).

Responsibilities

• Motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience and set morale.
• Provide feedback and coach team members when needed.
• Open and close the store with little supervision.

We are looking for a Shift Leader!

Our Shift Leaders are like the cream cheese on the bagel. The bagel is delicious on its own, but the cream cheese adds a LOT of flavor and helps hold it all together!

What's a day in the life of a Shift Leader?

Our Shift Leaders collaborate directly with the General Manager to help motivate the team to deliver a great guest experience. We empower Shift Leaders to take charge and set the morale and tone of the team. They provide feedback and coach team members when needed. Shift Leaders open and close the store with little to no supervision. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment. As a Shift Leader, you will have the opportunity to rise like one of our bagels and grow your career. Many of our General Managers started as Shift Leaders and Team Members! What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Must be in possession of, or able to acquire, a ServSafe Certification prior to completion of leadership training
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.
• Additional benefits eligibility is subject to position guidelines at time of hire.

Hourly Rate

$11.67 - $18.67 per hour
