Job summary

• Identify market opportunities through analysis of power fundamentals, weather, cross-border flows, fuel markets, carbon pricing, and macro developments.
• Collaborate closely with quantitative analysts and algorithmic developers to enhance systematic trading capabilities.
• Actively manage risk and maintain disciplined position management under changing market conditions.
• Translate market developments into actionable trading decisions and commercial outcomes.

You’ll play an important role in:

• delivering strong trading performance across Continental and UK power markets within an allocated risk mandate

• can develop clear market views and translate them into profitable trading strategies
• combine strong analytical and numerical capabilities with sound commercial judgement
