Job summary

Novonesis is seeking a scientifically driven European Technical Service professional to translate laboratory insights into customer value across the animal-based and marine ingredients space. You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Application Research to identify needs, run trials, and deliver technical support that strengthens customer partnerships.

The role emphasizes designing and executing experiments, generating data-driven recommendations, and presenting findings.

Qualifications

• University degree (MSc or PhD) in chemical or process engineering.
• Experience with process design and optimization in the food industry and marine materials.
• Strong scientific reasoning, experimental design and data analysis skills.
• Customer- and business-oriented mindset with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to engage customers, inspire testing and uncover opportunities.
• Initiate, plan and lead technical activities (trials, evaluations, onsite troubleshooting).
• Support launches of innovative products and services with cross-functional teams.
• Drive structured experiments, data analysis and technical documentation for decisions.
• Deliver technical training and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
