Job summary

TDC NET is looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager to strengthen our procurement team in Denmark, focusing on civil works, IT, telecom, and indirect procurement. You will develop sourcing strategies, negotiate favorable terms, and drive cost savings while managing supplier relationships in a transforming organization.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement needs are met, deliver financial analysis, and contribute to risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or relevant field.
• Significant experience in procurement/strategic sourcing within a large organization.
• IT and Telecommunication sourcing experience.
• Civil work sourcing and indirect sourcing experience.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

The Senior Sourcing Manager plays an important role in supporting the procurement department in TDC NET, working primarily with sourcing projects in the civil works, materials, IT and Telecommunication and indirect procurement category and also engaging with supplier management for some of our most important suppliers.

Your key responsibilities will include;

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to support organizational goals
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the procurement process
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement needs are met efficiently and effectively
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements
• Implement best practices in procurement to maximize value and minimise risk
• Develop cost‑saving strategies while ensuring quality and performance standards are met
• Provide financial analysis and reporting on procurement activities
• Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible agreements

About You

To thrive in this position, you should ideally possess:

• A master’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or any other relevant field
• Significant experience within procurement/strategic sourcing and sourcing processes from a large organisation, including
• IT and Telecommunication sourcing experience
• Civil Work Sourcing experience and/or
• Indirect Sourcing
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken

As a person, you have a commercial and strategic mindset, with the ability to quickly understand different complex business models and industry dynamics. You can put the strategy into action by breaking the bigger picture down into sourcing‑related decisions. You can keep a holistic view on the entire initiative, together with your colleagues, as well as its impact on other pieces of the supply chain, while still being into the details of your specific projects. Lastly, you enjoy working in a multicultural environment that is subject to frequent changes and are always willing to share your knowledge with your colleagues.
