Job summary

emagine seeks a Senior Solution Architect to lead IT/OT solution design and warehouse automation initiatives. You will bridge operational technology with enterprise IT, delivering robust architectures and clear governance from day one.

The role requires autonomy, strong communication, and hands-on delivery with on-site presence in the greater Copenhagen area (4 days/week) and potential remote elements, starting ASAP. This is a 3–6 month engagement with extension opportunities.

An opportunity exists for a Senior Solution Architect with profound expertise in IT & OT solution design and Warehouse Automation. The selected consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting crucial digital and operational initiatives, spearheading the design of robust architectures that effectively bridge operational technology with enterprise IT systems. Candidates must exhibit a senior profile, ready to engage promptly, operate autonomously, and provide high-quality architectural insights from the outset.

Key Responsibilities

• IT/OT Architecture — Design and align IT and OT solutions across warehouse automation, production systems, and enterprise platforms.
• Warehouse Automation IT Setup — Define and support automation-related system integrations, data flows, and operational processes.
• Solution Design — Develop scalable, secure and compliant solution designs supporting the digital roadmap.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration — Work closely with engineering, operations, IT leadership, and external vendors.
• Technical Documentation — Produce clear architectural documentation, diagrams, and decision records.
• Stakeholder Engagement — Support discussions with senior stakeholders and contribute to architectural governance.

Required Experience

• Strong background in IT & OT environments.
• Proven experience with warehouse automation IT setups.
• Solid experience in solution architecture in enterprise settings.
• Experience with SDD creation is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to onboard quickly and deliver independently.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder management capability.
