Job summary

PB Security ApS is seeking a Senior Offensive or Purple-team consultant to join our security team in Denmark. The role focuses on hands-on advanced penetration testing, simulating real-world attacks, and delivering actionable insights to improve clients' security posture.

Responsibilities include conducting tests across web apps, APIs, networks, and cloud/on-prem environments, validating fixes, and leading purple-team initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in offensive security and pentesting.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, API security and authentication flaws.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Windows environments and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Ability to clearly communicate security issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to pass security background checks with a clean criminal record.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Offensive or Senior Purple-team consultant to join our security team and help protect our awesome clients from evolving cyber threats. In this role, you will carry out hands-on advanced penetration tests, simulate real-world attacks and provide actionable security insights that directly improve customers' security posture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct penetration tests across web applications, APIs, networks, and cloud and on-premise environments. This will require to identify, exploit, and clearly document security vulnerabilities
• Validate fixes through re-testing and support teams during remediation
• Perform purple team–style projects (based on customer needs and your desire)
• Contribute to the development of tools, scripts, and internal testing methodologies
• Mentor junior penetration testers and provide technical leadership
• Stay up to date with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience of hands-on experience in offensive security
• Strong knowledge of web application security (OWASP Top 10, API security, authentication flaws)
• Solid understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Linux & Windows), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong skills in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Ability to clearly communicate complex security issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Must be able to pass security background checks and must have clean criminal record

Certifications (Preferred)

• OSCP, OSEP, OSCE, CRTO, GXPN, eCPTX, eCWPTX or equivalent
