Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in protein biochemistry, protein engineering, structural biology, biophysics or 5+ years in industry.
• Expertise in developing and interpreting biochemical/biophysical assays with purified proteins (SPR/BLI/fluorescence).
• Strong protein biochemistry/engineering background, including construct optimisation and mutagenesis.
• Evidence of scientific excellence through publications or notable industry achievements.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across disciplines and partners.

Responsibilities

• Shape scientific questions and experimental strategies for molecular design and candidate selection.
• Design, conduct and interpret biochemical/biophysical experiments on protein interactions.
• Apply protein biochemistry, engineering and binder formats to guide experiments.
• Develop and deploy high-throughput screening assays with attention to protein quality.
• Develop new approaches to protein interaction analysis and address challenges.
• Integrate findings with project data to inform decisions.
