Job summary

Continia Software in Copenhagen is seeking a frontend engineer to help shape our new product and expand our frontend stack using React Native, React, Next.js and TypeScript.

You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to turn ideas into well-engineered solutions, balancing product value, delivery, and long-term maintainability. We celebrate curiosity, craftsmanship, and a pragmatic approach to design and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core features and shared components using React Native.
• Contribute to frontend technical direction across Continia's product suite.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, patterns, and tools to improve scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Contribute to the design system and ensure accessible, performant user experiences.
• Work closely with other engineers to review code, share knowledge, and improve development practices.
• Share knowledge and support colleagues through feedback, guidance, and collaboration.
• Contribute to modern software engineering initiatives such as CD improvements, testing, rapid and reliable delivery, observability, and AI-assisted engineering.

About the Role

Your work will directly shape how thousands of businesses worldwide interact with Continia’s solutions - improving user experiences, driving customer satisfaction, and helping companies save valuable time. As part of this role, you will be making technical decisions and help shape best practices that strengthen frontend engineering across the company.

You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and backend engineers to turn ideas into well-engineered solutions - balancing product value, delivery, and long-term maintainability.

You will be working on a new product that will expand Continia's portfolio and grow our user base. We are an autonomous product team working with greenfield technology, currently including Azure, .NET, React, Next.js, and React Native.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement core features and shared components using React Native.
• Contribute to the technical direction for frontend solutions across Continia’s product suite.
• Evaluate and introduce new technologies, patterns, and tools that improve scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Contribute to the design system and ensure consistent, accessible, and performant user experiences.
• Work closely with other engineers to review code, share knowledge, and improve development practices.
• Share knowledge and support colleagues through feedback, guidance, and collaboration.
• Contribute to modern software engineering initiatives such as CD improvements, testing, rapid and reliable delivery, observability, and AI-assisted engineering.
