Job summary

Podimo is seeking a Senior Product Designer, Growth to craft user journeys that boost conversion and retention across web and mobile. You will shape onboarding, paywall experiences, and value propositions to attract and retain subscribers.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team across EU offices (Copenhagen, Amsterdam, Berlin) to mature our design system and drive growth with data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• Data analysis to shape problems and hypotheses.
• UX research through qualitative insights and customer interviews.
• Excellent communication to align stakeholders on problems.
• Craftsmanship in clear information hierarchy and CTAs with low cognitive load.
• Familiarity with design tools (Figma), plus spreadsheet-based analysis and note-taking.

We are Europe’s leading podcasting platform, home to award winning exclusive originals, audiobooks and podcasts. We work with some of the best and most exciting Creators across Europe, and publish over 700 episodes a month, all powered by our innovative technology and a seamless consumer experience.

We are now looking for an experienced Senior Product Designer, Growth who will design cohesive customer journeys with us.

This is the role

As a Senior Product Designer, Growth at Podimo, you will design user experiences that drive higher conversion and customer retention. From acquisition to activation, retention, and monetisation, you will ensure Podimo’s value props are clear and compelling. This is an opportunity to lead growth through the product.

The role can be based at our Copenhagen HQ, our Amsterdam office, or our Berlin office, depending on the right person.

What You’ll Do

• Gather quantitative and qualitative insights on users’ experiences within our apps and why they leave. So that you can design better retention strategies.
• Design paywall strategies that convert new users and upgrade existing users at the right place and time in their journeys. This includes all our platforms: web, iOS, and Android apps.
• Design cohesive value propositions that address the needs of different audiences.
• Design social opportunities for users to share the content they love, in order to bring new users to our platform.
• Design onboarding experiences to ensure users discover their next favourite show.
• Work with the rest of the product design team to mature our design system for all contexts.

This is you

Experience We’re Looking For

• Data analysis: You can gather and interpret data from multiple sources to help shape a problem and form a hypothesis.
• UX research: You can analyse qualitative insights and interview customers in order to understand what motivates people and why.
• Excellent communication skills: You can articulate insights that help stakeholders from different domains align on the right problems to solve.
• Craftsmanship: You can design interfaces with clear information hierarchies and calls to action with as low a cognitive load as possible.
• Design tool curiosity: You know when to use the right tool for the job, whether it’s Figma, Claude, a spreadsheet, or pen and paper.
• A proactive approach: You do not wait for the problem to come fully formed to you. You take ownership to ensure your team defines the right problem and designs the right solution.

As Well As The Following

• 7+ years of experience designing digital products. With at least a couple of years working in growth, subscription, or monetisation teams.
• A portfolio of case studies that demonstrate clear problems, hypotheses, and iterations on solutions that clearly achieve a desired outcome.
• Are able to work within the European Union.

Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio and video content, creators, entertainment and the media industry is a big plus!
