Senior Process Excellence Professional – Procurement for Manufacturing

Your impact begins here

Join us as an Area Process Manager for our Procurement for Manufacturing process and help translate corporate process direction into ways of working that are clear, compliant and effective across Supply Chain & LCM.

You will take ownership of how the process is governed and continuously improved within your area, working across functions and organisational levels to strengthen alignment, decision-making and execution.

Your first priorities will be to establish a strong process network across the Area, improve how process information and decisions flow through the organisation, and bring overdue process and document reviews back on track. Over time, your success will be reflected in a Procurement for Manufacturing process that is easier to navigate, remains fit for purpose and enables the organisation to work compliantly and effectively.

What you’ll bring

You bring the experience and judgement to take ownership of a complex process area while working across organisational boundaries.

  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience in a GMP-regulated environment, including significant experience with process management, process governance or end-to-end process ownership.
  • Proven experience leading complex cross-functional processes and influencing stakeholders across organisational levels without formal authority.
  • Strong understanding of GMP and quality requirements, with the ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into clear, workable processes.
  • Experience driving process improvements and organisational change, including challenging existing ways of working and making decisions within your mandate.
  • A working style with a can-do-attitude and natural focus of challenging status quo.
  • The ability to move between strategic direction and detailed process content, understanding when precision matters while keeping sight of the broader business need.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • A relevant academic degree within pharmacy, engineering, science or another relevant discipline.

Useful, but not essential: Experience within supply chain, procurement, supplier management or direct procurement in the pharmaceutical industry.

What you’ll do

As Area Process Manager, you will take ownership of how the corporate Procurement for Manufacturing process is translated, governed and continuously improved across Supply Chain & LCM.

You will:

  • Lead the Procurement for Manufacturing process agenda across your area, translating corporate strategy and requirements into clear priorities and effective ways of working.
  • Shape and continuously improve the process within your mandate, ensuring it remains compliant, fit for purpose and relevant to the needs of one of its key user areas.
  • Build and lead a strong process network across functions and organisational levels, creating effective information flow and alignment between process responsibles, Area stakeholders and the corporate process organisation.
  • Make and drive Area-level process decisions, challenging existing practices and escalating issues where broader corporate action is required.
  • Represent the Area in corporate process discussions, bringing insights, risks and improvement opportunities from the business into the wider Procurement for Manufacturing agenda.
  • Lead process reviews and improvements across documentation, change requests and related quality activities, ensuring changes translate into sustainable ways of working.
  • Drive adoption of process changes through clear communication, stakeholder engagement and change management.
  • Provide process leadership during relevant audits and inspections and contribute to training and capability building across the organisation.
Who you’ll work with

You will join a quality-focused team within Supply Chain & LCM, where colleagues work across supplier quality, training and process management.

Your closest partner will be the Novo Nordisk Process Manager responsible for the overall Procurement for Manufacturing process strategy. You will also collaborate with process responsibles, quality colleagues, procurement and supply chain stakeholders, management teams and Area Process Managers across the organisation.

The role has a global perspective, with stakeholders and process users across Novo Nordisk.

What you can expect here

You will step into a role with real ownership and the mandate to shape how an important corporate process works within one of its key user areas.

You will have experienced colleagues around you to collaborate and spar with, while being trusted to make decisions within your area. The role gives you the opportunity to deepen your process expertise, broaden your organisational perspective and create improvements across functions and geographies.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000.00 to 956,900.00 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.

The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience.

Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
