Job summary

Jones Engineering is seeking a Lead Planner to develop detailed construction schedules, resource load and KPI tracking across projects in Europe. You will ensure schedule accuracy, manage change control, attend site meetings, and produce weekly construction reports.

Qualifications

• Relevant 3rd level qualification.
• 3–5 years post-qualification experience in an M&E contracting environment.
• Experience using Primavera P6.
• Site-based role with standard or rotation working patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed construction schedules for baseline agreement with client.
• Resource load schedules and track KPI performance.
• Ensure schedule accuracy and timely updates.
• Track planned vs actual EV progress and generate graphs for reports.
• Log issues via change control and attend site meetings.
• Monitor budgets for scope growth/changes and coordinate weekly reports.
• Utilise Jones Engineering's project control systems and monitor fabrication/site output.
• Produce look-ahead schedules for construction teams and clients.

Job Description

• Development of detailed construction schedules for baseline agreement with client
• Ability to fully resource load schedules and track KPI’s
• Ensuring accuracy and timely updating of construction schedule
• Track planned versus actual EV progress and formulate the required graphs and metrics for inclusion in the project report.
• Working with construction team members to capture and log any issues via the appropriate change control mechanisms
• Attending site meetings (internal and client based)
• Monitoring original versus actual budgets for scope growth/changes
• Use of Jones Engineering internal database project control system
• Monitoring fabrication workshops and site installation output
• Productivity tracking of craft labour Spent vs Earned hours
• Take lead in production/co-ordination in issuing of weekly construction reports
• Provide all relevant look aheads for the construction teams and clients where applicable.
  
  

Skills And Requirements

• Relevant 3rd level qualification
• Minimum of 3-5 years post qualification experience (ideally in a M&E contracting environment)
• Experience based on utilising Primavera P6 software required
• Site based role working on a standard working week basis or rotation basis
• Remuneration package will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
