Job summary

Ascendis Pharma A/S seeks a Senior Project Manager or Process Specialist to drive outsourced chemical manufacturing for peptides, starting materials, intermediates and APIs. You will manage technology transfer, PPQ, CPV programs, and collaborate with CMOs in a fast‑paced setting.

You hold an MSc or PhD in chemistry/chemical engineering with 5+ years in pharma development or manufacturing, GMP experience, and strong English and MS Office/SAS JMP skills.

Qualifications

• Master of Science or Ph.D. in organic chemistry, peptide synthesis or chemical engineering.
• At least 5 years in pharmaceutical development or manufacturing.
• Experience with GMP and quality systems.
• Proficient with MS Office and SAS JMP or similar data tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outsourced manufacture of peptides, starting materials, intermediates and APIs.
• Lead technology transfer and PPQ process validation.
• Drive post‑PPQ optimizations, risk management and CPV programs.
• Support QA with master batch record updates and release.
