As a Senior Outsourcing Professional, you will become part of a team responsible for outsourcing activities supporting Novo Nordisk’s clinical development programmes across Phase I, II, and III development. You will act as a key project lead between Novo Nordisk and external Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs), ensuring successful delivery of development and clinical manufacturing activities while balancing quality, timelines, and business objectives.
This position offers broad exposure across scientific, technical, commercial, and strategic disciplines. You will work closely with experienced outsourcing managers and gain deep insight into supplier management, project leadership, and pharmaceutical development in one of the industry's most innovative environments.
Travel of approximately 10–20 days per year should be expected.
You will join CMC Outsourcing Drug Substance within CMC Product & Process Development in Bagsværd. The department plays a vital role in supporting Novo Nordisk’s development pipeline by identifying, selecting, and managing external partners that provide development services, process development, and clinical manufacturing activities.
The organisation supports drug substance development across multiple modalities, including biologics, synthetic peptides, and small molecules.
This position will join the small molecules cluster, working alongside experienced colleagues who combine deep technical expertise with strong commercial and project management capabilities.
The team currently consists of 14 highly skilled individuals collaborating across functions and geographies to deliver critical clinical development milestones.
As demand for outsourcing activities continues to grow, the team is expanding to support Novo Nordisk’s ambitious portfolio of future medicines.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 651,000 to 956,900 DKK, corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short-term and/or long-term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
