Job summary

Mjølner Informatics A/S is seeking a Senior .NET Developer to join our Madrid team, delivering .NET and cloud-based solutions for Danish and international clients. You’ll work with teams across Spain and Denmark, shaping architecture, APIs, and modern cloud-native systems using Azure and related technologies.

You should have 5+ years in .NET, strong C#, REST APIs, and a solid understanding of databases, microservices, containers, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a .NET developer with C# and .NET.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, relational databases, data modelling.
• Experience with microservices, containers, and cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS).
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
• Excellent English written and spoken skills.
• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies and a curiosity for learning.

Your day-to-day

You'll join a variety of projects for Danish and international clients, working closely with developers, consultants, and project managers across our Spanish and Danish offices.

Most of our projects are built on .NET, Azure, and modern cloud-native technologies, but industries, project scopes, and technical challenges vary. We value freedom with responsibility, so you'll have significant influence over how you structure your work and solve technical challenges.

What you'll bring

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a .NET developer, with solid expertise in C# and the .NET ecosystem
• Experience with backend architecture and design patterns, including building and maintaining RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of relational databases and experience with data modelling and query optimisation
• Experience with microservices, containerisation, and cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Terraform, Kubernetes and/or CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
• High proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies, and the ability to leverage them effectively in day-to-day work
• A curious, solution-oriented mindset and a genuine interest in continuous learning and technical growth
