Job summary

Demant in Ballerup is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for microelectronics to develop and implement advanced manufacturing processes for hearing aid microelectronics. You will join a small team of process engineers in an Agile setup, driving process innovation, quality improvements, and cost reductions while evaluating new equipment and materials.

You should have 5+ years in manufacturing, with strong analytical problem-solving skills, knowledge of Six Sigma/DoE, metrology, and CAD/PCB tools.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering education with focus on materials, microelectronics, manufacturing, or chemistry.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with analytical problem solving.
• Experience with Six Sigma and DoE methods is advantageous.
• Experience with optical analysis tools (AOI, SPI) is advantageous.
• Experience with metrology and statistics (R, Python).
• CAD/CAM and PCB design knowledge (CAM350, Creo, OnShape).
• Experience in medical equipment manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop new processes and designs for new generations of microelectronic assemblies.
• Optimize existing production processes to improve quality, capacity, capability, and reduce costs.
• Evaluate and qualify new production equipment and materials.
• Create and communicate statistical reports and presentations of experimental results.
• Challenge existing design rules and collaborate with product development team.
• Active technology, process and methods scouting.
