Job summary

LEGO Group in Billund is seeking a Senior Mechanical Platform Engineer to convert innovative concepts into standard, production-ready moulding solutions. You will bridge architecture, engineering, and production, designing 3D/2D concepts and supporting new technology in a high-volume environment.

The role operates under a Best of Both hybrid model: three days in the office and up to two days from home, with no relocation support offered.

Qualifications

• Delivered complex mould designs and resolved non-standard mechanical design challenges.
• Created 3D and 2D mechanical designs using Siemens NX or similar.
• Applied manufacturing process expertise to improve design quality, cost, lead time, or assembly outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Design concept moulds and components supporting future platform standards.
• Support risk reduction through DFMEA and PFMEA activities.
• Partner with production and value chain specialists to implement new technology and feed learning back into standards.
• Balance innovation, manufacturability, productivity, cost, and long-term platform performance.
• Progress towards owning end-to-end design packages independently.
