Would you like to be part of a highly skilled production unit dedicated to making a difference for people living with Diabetes or Obesity? Then you may be Novo Nordisk's new Senior Manager.
We are looking for a Sr. Manager for M1 Fermentation and Recovery at site Kalundborg. You will be part of a dynamic business area in constant development which produces Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for patients across the world.
As a Sr. Manager, you will lead a support team of highly skilled employees. You will play a key role in developing your team and continuously improve performance as well as delivering excellent results. You will also be responsible for coordinating and prioritizing resources and tasks in the team to ensure fulfilment of our ambition to obtain more capacity and a stable production of high‑quality products out of the facility. In addition, you will be part of the management team and will work closely with your management colleagues on day‑to‑day operations and people management related matters.

As a leader, you are good at collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across the organization. Moreover, you need to oversee and manage day‑to‑day operations and long‑term coordinating, prioritizing and planning of resources and tasks in the team to ensure fulfilment of our ambition to obtain more capacity and stable production of high‑quality products out of the facility. This would include prioritization and portfolio management of multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity.
As a person, you have strong analytical skills with an interest in systematic problem‑solving. You are structured and proactive in your work and will never compromise on quality. To succeed you need to be able to keep calm and make decisions in a busy work environment, where the agenda changes frequently. As a leader, you see and match your employees' needs and ambitions, where you naturally adapt your leadership style, ask curious questions and can communicate at all levels of the organization.

The department consists of approx. 170 employees divided into 10 teams (6 operation- and 4 support teams). Over the coming years we will optimize our production to keep up with the demand.

Salary: For this role, the Annual Base Salary ranges from 742,600 to 1,091,600 DKK (DK), corresponding to the level of the position.
The placement within the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on the candidate’s skills, competencies, knowledge, and relevant experience.
Incentives and Benefits: The salary package may include short‑term and/or long‑term incentives as well as other employee benefits based on position level, location, functional area and relevant market benchmarks.
